Bro. Avery served as Master of Pleasanton (321) in 2006 and Crow Canyon (551) in 2008. He has been a member in good standing for more than 34 years. He served as an Inspector 2013 -2014 and was appointed Grand Sword Bearer in 2014-2015. Since 2008 he has served on several Grand Lodge Properties committees. He served as inspector from 2015-2016. He received a Hiram Award from 321 in 2018. He lives in Castro Valley with his wife, Nicki and works as a Project Manager.
