Glen joined Masonry at 21, when his father was Master of the Lodge in his small town. Miraculously, his father was able to coordinate Glen’s degrees and proficiencies within a 10 day period from election to raising as a Master Mason. They accomplished this because Glen was scheduled to join the service the next day.
Glen worked for a window & frame manufacturer in San Leandro after his stint in the military. He initially swept the floors, then became a bookkeeper, office manager, vice president, and eventually president and CEO. He worked at the same company for 52 years.
