We are halfway through 2025, and more activities are on the horizon. Our Stated Meeting on Thursday, July 3rd, has a special ceremony before our dinner. We will have a holiday presentation that will be put on by our Masonic youth groups and the Boy Scouts who meet at Castro Valley Masonic Center. Since the next day is Independence Day, the youth groups will get all of us into the holiday spirit. Let's also extend a big thank you to Ernie Nidick who has been involved with this July Stated Meeting event every year.
On Saturday, August 2md, Crow Canyon will be at Tilden Park for the Lodge Picnic, which will begin at 11:00 AM. Let's be ready for some great tasting food and an enjoyable train ride.
The following Saturday (August 9th), Crow Canyon will be hosting the annual Strawberry Feed which will be held at the Masonic Homes of California. We will need help in order to get the strawberries cut up and the rest of the food ready for the Masonic Home residents. If you can help with this event, food preparation will be at the lodge starting at 11:00 AM and serving will be at the Masonic Home at 1:30 PM. The Home residents always love the strawberry treats that we serve them.
Finally, remember to mark the weekend of October 3rd-5th, 2025 for our visitation to Mariposa. We will be receiving details at the July Stated Meeting in regard to lodging, activities, and directions to Mariposa. Please don't miss this visitation. It is going to be one great time!
Take care everyone. See you at Lodge.
