Brethren and Families, Happy New Year - 6026 A.L.
Thank you to all who attended the Installation of Officers for 2026. The lodge was honored to have our DeMolay team perform the Arch of Steel as the new officers entered the lodge room. Our guests, the installation team, and the officers were then privileged to witness the ceremonial presentation of our nation’s flag by the Grand Patriotism and Representative to Iowa, Mississippi, and Missouri, Cierah Cabral of Unity Assembly #65, flanked by the DeMolay Color-Guards.
Due to a last minute illness, our Installing Officer, Robert Pinkerton, was unable to attend. We are grateful that Wor. Allen Quenca, our own Inspector of the 317th Masonic District, stepped in on short notice and expertly conducted his second installation of the day. Wor. Brian Ross served as Master of Ceremonies, and it was clear from his confident delivery that this was far from his first rodeo. It was a truly memorable effort by all involved.
Following the installation, attendees enjoyed a hearty prime rib dinner prepared by our Master Chef, Wor. Roy Tamez, along with his dedicated purveyors.
As a reminder, throughout 2026 we will be offering a complimentary meal each month to any Brother celebrating a birthday or Third Degree anniversary during that month, as listed in the Trestleboard. Please be sure to check in with our “Dining Hall Tiler,” Bro. Treasurer Phil Busch, HA.
The camaraderie does not have to end with dinner. We encourage all Masons to migrate into the lodge room for the Stated Meeting. To take part in the work of the lodge, make your voice heard, ask how you can become involved, and support the lodge in any way you are able. This is your lodge, and your voice matters.
Finally, I would like to remind everyone that the Lodge hosts a Zoom social from 7:00–8:00 PM on the third Tuesday of each month. This gathering began in 2020 during the COVID lockdown as a way for Brothers to remain in fellowship with one another.
The Zoom social continues to be an excellent way to connect with Brothers who may be unable to attend Lodge in person due to mobility or distance. It also provides a relaxed platform for Masonic education in an un-tiled, informal setting. Most importantly, it is an open forum where Brothers are welcome to discuss whatever is on their minds. Please browse this Trestleboard for the Zoom link and additional details.
We look forward to seeing you again soon.
