Brethren and Families,

Here we are in February, and I am excited to share that our Lodge is revving up its activities for the year. Your officers and I are very much looking forward to seeing you at each event this Lodge hosts in your honor.
We have scheduled a Super Bowl party (2/8 @ 2:30 PM) in the Lodge fellowship hall (for Brothers, wives, and guests). We expect it will be well attended, lively, and full of enthusiasm, both Masonic and football related. The event came together from an impromptu motion raised at the January Stated Meeting and was met with thundering approval.
February brings us a very notable occasion that we hope is high on your must attend list. On February 19th at 7:00 PM, we will be conferring a double Second Degree for Bro. Ildjer Baron and Bro. Robert Johnson. Your officers have invested a great deal of time and effort to prepare the best degree possible for these worthy Fellowcrafts to be, and your presence always makes the work that much more meaningful.
We also have several other activities planned for February, listed on the calendar on the next page, along with a few that remain moving targets as we finalize details such as location, timing, and participants. These include the Masonic Sportsman Club rifle range outing and hiking opportunities. If you enjoy fresh air, good company, and returning home tired in a good way, please email me for further details.
For those who cannot attend every event in person, our online Zoom social continues to be an excellent way to stay connected, especially for Brothers limited by mobility or distance. It offers a relaxed, un-tiled setting for Masonic education, fellowship, or simply good conversation. Brothers and wives are welcome. Please see this Trestleboard for the Zoom link. If technology is not your favorite working tool, not to worry. Call me at least an hour beforehand and I will happily guide you through the sign in process.
We also look forward to welcoming you, your family, and your guests to our Stated Dinners. As a reminder, throughout 2026 we will be offering a complimentary meal each month to any Brother celebrating a birthday or Third Degree anniversary during that month, as listed in this Trestleboard. Be sure to check in with our Dining Hall Tiler, Bro. Treasurer Phil Busch, H.A., who will be faithfully standing guard (while sitting) at the entrance to the dining hall.
Following dinner, we encourage all Masons to migrate into the Lodge room to take part in the work of the Lodge during our Stated Meeting. Feel free to ask not what your Lodge can do for you, but ask what you can do for your Lodge. However, bench warmers are always welcome.
Lastly, please remember that I am always available should you or your family have any questions, ideas, concerns, or words of praise. An email is best for non-urgent matters, or feel free to call and leave a message. I will respond within hours.
We look forward to seeing you again soon.
