Brethren and Families,

Congratulations to our newest Fellowcraft Masons, Bro. Ildjer Baron and Bro. Robert Johnson, who received their First Degree from our lodge officers on February 19.

It is always rewarding to be reminded that no two degrees are ever the same. Often, the most meaningful (or humorous) moments come from the unscripted interactions between officers and candidates, moments that become lasting memories for everyone involved. That was certainly the case with both Bro. Baron and Bro. Johnson. I encourage each of you to attend our degree work whenever possible and take part in our candidates’ experiences as we continue building and strengthening our lodge together.

A special thank you to Bro. Johnson, who prepared the officers’ dinner prior to receiving his own degree. His actions are an outstanding example of dedication and service.

On March 26th, we will begin conferring 1st Degrees. At present, as many as five men, ‘of their own free will and accord’, are preparing to begin their Masonic journey. Your attendance and support help create the sense of belonging, respect, and brotherhood that each of us felt when we were first initiated. Let us continue to show up for our new Brothers, just as others once showed up for us.

Crab Feed!  March 7th at 5:00 pm. This will be the final year that the lodge subsidizes this event in order to keep the ticket price at $65. Only 100 tickets will be sold at this price, so please contact our Secretary, Perry Klahr, ASAP! By the time of this posting, tickets may already be sold out.

Lastly, throughout 2026 we will offer a complimentary meal each month to any Brother celebrating a birthday or Third Degree anniversary during that month, as listed in the Trestleboard. Please check in with our ‘Dining Hall Tiler’, Bro. Treasurer Phil Busch, H.A., who will provide you with a raffle ticket for a chance to win an additional complimentary dinner.

We look forward to seeing you again soon.
