I hope you and yours are safe and well! How I miss seeing you all in the Lodge!
At the suggestion of Brother Phil Busch, the officers decided to hold a Feast of St. John the Baptist on June 20, 2020 via the Zoom videoconferencing application. I tried to get the word out to as many brothers as I could via email and I apologize if you did not receive notice. If you did not, it was not intentional, and if you contact me with your email information I will insure that you will get an invite to any other video event the Lodge may put on in the future.
I was happy to see Bros. Ron Reynolds and Gerald Woergoetter at the Feast - both of whom have migrated to the great Northwest but have kept their ties to their home Lodge. Also, our own Worshipful Mike Ramos along with our Worshipful Master gave interesting and informative presentations during the main course. One thing is for sure, it is easier to get home after the Feast if you never have to leave your man cave if you know what I mean.
If any of you have ideas for video gatherings that give our brethren a chance to share their friendship and brotherly love towards each other please let me know and I would be happy to set it up if appropriate. Although nothing beats being at the Lodge – it’s the next best thing.
