This weekend our Honored Queen and another member attended the Grand Librarian’s Reception in Richmond. It was a fun “Tea” with tables decorated with real china, books and her favorite mascot lady bugs.
Our next fun activity is a trip to the Pumpkin Patch & Maze in Livermore on Saturday, October 12th. We encourage families, friends & potential members to attend.
Sadly we did not have any potential members attend our Ice Cream Social in September so our Deputy’s Official Visit & Initiation has been pushed to later in the term. We continue to promote Job’s Daughters by posting information on community bulletin boards in the Tri-Valley area. Let us know if you happen to see our fliers in your neighborhood.
We welcome new members 10-20 years old and younger girls for our JD to Bee program. Also, it is time to recommend adults to serve on the Bethel Guardian Council. If anyone is interested in helping or if you know someone interested in joining our Bethel please contact us at Bethel1@cajdi.org.
