Bethel No. 1, Dublin Job’s Daughters
Receives Proclamation from the City of Dublin
On May 5th Bethel No. 1 was invited to attend the City of Dublin Council Meeting where they were presented a Proclamation for Job’s Daughter Day. Our Chaplain, Mimi read her Librarian’s Report about our founder Mother Mick & Job’s Daughter International and Scarlett read her Librarian’s Report about when a member turns 20 years old & reaches her Majority. It was a great honor to be recognized & presented this proclamation for the 4th year.

We wish to thank those who purchased tickets & attended our annual Spaghetti Feed & Silent Auction on April 24th. We had over 50 wonderful items/baskets to bid on for our Silent Auction and everyone enjoyed the Spaghetti Dinner provide by the Shrine purveyors who are always so supportive. Hope everyone had a good time & hope to see you next year.
June 6th is our Bethel Installation 2 PM at Castro Valley Masonic Center. It’s always exciting to start a new term with new Bethel officers.
Next we will be off to Visalia for Grand Bethel (our State convention) with six members. Grand Bethel is always fun for the Bethel Daughters as they compete in the various competitions, trade items, look alikes & meeting new friends.
During the summer we will be volunteering at the Alameda County Fair.
If you are interested in working, please let us know.
Job’s Daughters meetings will resume the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays at John Knox Church in Dublin in September. We welcome new members 10 - 20 years old and younger girls for our JD to Bee program. Please contact us at
bethel1@cajdi.org. Thank you!
Wishing everyone a great summer!
