Hey there! My name is Aleesha B and I am a PHQ and current Junior Princess to Bethel No. 1, Dublin from Job’s Daughters International. It is such a pleasure to have you read this letter and thank you for the privilege to get Bethel 1 out there by putting this in your trestle board.
Just recently, we had a wONEderful reception honoring our Grand Bethel First Messenger, Julie Morgan! Our theme was surrounded by, “Golden Girls,” That one fun and tacky show with 4 elderly woman living in a retiring home, well known as, “Shady Pines.” Now, I can’t speak for Julie but I will say she had at least happy tears a gazillion times. She received a scrapbook, quilt and her Grand Bethel medallion necklace.
As we move forward, my bethel has been planning on being a part of Dublin’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade (Saturday, March 14th) once again! This year we have a float being decorated and lots of girls ready to be in formals and robes. The best thing about this parade is seeing our name getting out there and proudly showing ourselves as one of the Masonic Youth organizations! I would love to see some of you all there and possibly even JOIN our float! This is our thank you to you- Let’s celebrate St. Patrick’s Day together as a Masonic Family!
After the parade, we will be hosting our own Promotional Booth at the Festival. We would love to see you with us and hopefully play along with our games and shenanigans!
I hope to see you all in green or whatever you feel most comfortable wearing this upcoming holiday, (But I must warn you- If the younger sisters of my bethel can’t find any green on you this St. Patty’s Day, they might just pinch you!)
