I am pleased to introduce our newest Master Mason, Orrin
Benedict. Orrin was raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason on Feb. 22, 2018. His ceremony was attended by many distinguished Brethren and Past Masters from our neighboring Simonov Lodge. It was an honor to have been a part of his raising.
This March is turning out to be a month to remember as we have another chance to be a part of the raising of a fellow brother, so please plan on helping us raise Bro. Perry Klahr, on March 8 at 7:00 PM.
Along with this raising, March brings another milestone within our Masonic journey. On March 22 at 7:00 PM, we will be blessed to have the opportunity to present to Bro. Anthony Lloyd his 50 year Pin. It will be a must attend event, so please RSVP, and I hope to see you all there!
Now from Labor to Refreshments…
The ‘Annual Crab Feed’ on Feb. 24 was well attended, and all looked to have enjoyed the food and companionship. I must admit, it was my first ever ‘Crab Feed’ dinner, and I was surprised to see all the home-brought tools, butter clarifier, and crab dipping sauces. Obviously, I was a rookie in a league of crab aficionados. Next year I plan on stepping up my game!
Lastly, on the continued theme of March Milestones; the month will have five Thursdays and rumor has it that on the fifth Thursday of a month, there must be a celebratory Potluck to display all of our family's treasured culinary morsels. So please bring your signature dish and prepare to hand out those recipes (with some vital ingredients omitted of course) to the lodge on March 29th.
