I hope you enjoyed our new Stated Meeting Dinner (May 5th) format this month. For the rest of my year as Master of the Lodge committees will report during our dinner and upcoming events will be given. These matters, with minor exceptions, will no longer be discussed during the actual Stated Meeting. I will also strive to have monthly guests to speak during dinner. In that regard, I want to thank Brothers Alan West and Kay Dunn for their presentation at our Stated Meeting about the AAHMES Shrine and what the Shriners do for deserving children.
I want to also thank Brother Adam Korbas for the wonderful job he did putting on the Public Schools Night (May 12th) presentations. The meal was great thanks to the kitchen crew, the choir was wonderful and the selected teachers more than deserved their honors.
I was honored to attend the DeMolay Installation on May 15th with several Lodge brothers and brothers from Live Oak Lodge in Oakland. I wish Master Counselor Paulo Cabral all the best during his term.
I hope to see you all at the Stated Meeting on June 2nd. The DeMolay will have a presentation during dinner and our District Inspector Allen Cuenca will be making his official visit to the Lodge. Let's make Worshipful Allen proud of this Lodge and have a strong showing!
