I hope all of you are having an enjoyable summer. Things around the Lodge slow down during this part of the year by design. I hope you all are getting out in nature, seeing family, cruising camping, or enjoying our California beaches and Coastline which are second to none.
I know a lot of you are cruising now that the cruise ships are back in operation. I too love cruising and cannot wait to catch Princess Cruises out of San Francisco to Alaska, Hawaii or Mexico next year!
As for the Lodge, I was honored to have new Brothers Charles and Jacob Herrick receive their first degrees on July 14, 2022. This father and son team are just a charm to be around and I know they will make great members of our Lodge.
Keep in mind that we have our Lodge Picnic on September 3, 2022 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Golden Gate Steamers facility in Orinda (2491 Grizzly Peak Blvd, Orinda to be exact). Bring a side dish or dessert and the Lodge will provide the meat, fixin’s and the drinks. All members of our lodge, their families and friends are invited – as well as the youth groups and their families. Please call our secretary Perry Klahr or our Junior Warden and let them know who is coming! This is always a great event.
