I hope that everyone enjoyed the meals that we had in March. Now that we have enjoyed our Corn Beef and cabbage, as well as our Prime Rib at the Golden Veterans Anniversary, and the food for our potluck dinner, we are now setting our sights on the April Stated Meeting Dinner and the Public Schools Dinner.
Roy Tamez and his crew will be serving Ham (chicken upon request) for the Stated Meeting Dinner which will start at 5:30 PM with the usual social time followed by dinner at 6:15 PM on Thursday, April 6th. I will announce what the entree will be for the Public School Dinner which will start at 5:00 PM followed by the ceremony at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 20th.
I wish to thank everyone who put their reservations on the sign-up sheets. At the April Stated Meeting, I will have sign-up sheets for the May Stated Meeting Dinner as well as the Public Schools Ceremony. If you miss the sign-up sheets, please call Perry Klahr at (925) 425-3360 or me at (510) 441-3901. Try to get reservations in at least one week before the event so we can be sure to have enough food for everyone.
