Last Year's Picnic at Golden Gate Live Steamers

The month of September has several events open to all brothers. On September 7 & 8 we have the Castro Valley Fall Festival and the Child ID Program for volunteers who are looking for some way to do good for the local community. Roy always has a hearty breakfast waiting for the volunteers on the morning of the first day (September 7). C’mon out and participate – the lodge could use your help during this worthwhile event. No experience required!

Our lodge picnic is September 14, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Golden Gate Live Steamers clubhouse and grounds located at 2710 Grizzly Peak Blvd., Orinda, California. Contact J Rafisura (Senior Deacon) or myself to reserve your spots! Uncle Roy will be barbequing tri-tip as always – but if you bakers out there could rustle up some desserts that would be great.

On September 22, 2019, the Lodge Sportsman’s Club will be off on another Rock-Cod fishing trip. Reserve your space by contacting Paul Rodriguez (Senior Warden) or myself. I went out fishing with Pleasanton Lodge earlier this month and we had a blast!

On September 26, 2019, the Past Masters Roll Call will be held at the Lodge from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The menu will be announced at the Stated Meeting on September 5, 2019.

Finally, if you missed the White Table Night on August 17 you should kick yourself for missing a wonderful evening of food and dancing. We had a live band (Norman & the Boyz) who played their butts off while we danced the night away. Please – please - please – for the next White Table Night make sure you attend – and singles are warmly welcomed!
