From the West

By Brian Ross—Senior Warden

Some of you might have noticed that we have started a small library for your use at the lodge. As you walk into the lodge room entrance - it is outside on the right against the wall. At the urging of Worshipful Bill Ferrell I picked up “Freemasonry and the Birth of Modern Science” from the library and found it fascinating regarding our fraternity’s impact on modern science!

The point is, I encourage you all to share your Masonic writings with our members. I have donated a couple of books myself and look forward to reading yours.

I will be sitting in the East in March for at least one Second Degree conferral (Bro. Ellison) and possibly one other. I will be encouraging you all to attend - directly by email - this wonderful ceremony.

Finally, as a member of the Hall Association, I am proud to announce that the carpet in the front of the building is to be removed and replaced by laminate flooring in July!

I will see you all at our Stated Meeting on March 5, 2020.

Freemasonry is the world's oldest and largest fraternity. It is comprised of adult men (18+) of good character from every country, religion, race, age, income, education, and opinion. Its body of knowledge and system of ethics is based on the belief that each man has a responsibility to improve himself while being devoted to his family, his faith, his country, and his fraternity.
