Brethren:
Welcome to June, the sixth month of the year. We are now at the halfway point in 2025!
The month of June is named after the Roman Goddess Juno, the wife of Jupiter. June is also the official start of Summer in the Northern Hemisphere. On June 11th, we will experience the "Strawberry Moon.” It is the traditional indicator of the ripening season for wild strawberries. Although the Moon will not actually appear red or pink like strawberries, the name itself signifies the start of the summer season. On June 20th, we experience the summer solstice, the longest day of daylight in 2025.
In closing, I would like to congratulate Brother Anton Korbas on having received the Second Degree of Masonry last month on May 22, 2025.
