Masonic Family Corner

Greetings to all! My name is Emily P., I am currently Chaplain of Bethel No. 1 Dublin of Job’s Daughters.

This past month has been a little hard for us due to many people in our Bethel feeling under the weather, but that won’t stop us from doing various fundraisers for our Grand Bethel girl’s project and for the daughters going to the Supreme Session this July.

Our most current installation of officers was January 4, 2020. I guess you could say it was successful and a blast. This was my second installation as a Job’s Daughter.

One of my favorite things I love doing with my sisters has to be Grand Bethel in Ontario this past summer. I have had a great time with my Bethel more recently on March 7th when our current Honored Queen, Sophia, planned a mystery trip to the Pinball museum in Alameda it was a lot of fun playing the different games.

Every year my Bethel looks forward to being in the Dublin St. Patrick’s Day parade and festival, which got canceled this year, but we will be planning an event soon to promote Job’s Daughters along with the help of Pleasanton DeMolay. In the past many of our active members came to us by way of the promotional booth at the festival.

We are planning an open meeting where all may attend to see who we are and why we are so excited to share our experiences. We invite you to attend our meetings that are held on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at John Knox Presbyterian Fellowship Hall, in Dublin.

We are also hosting a “Battle of the Prospects” with Pleasanton DeMolay, which will be held on April 17, 2020 at 7pm. So far it has been a good term and I can't wait for what the rest of the term has to offer.

Editor’s note: Emily submitted this article prior to the recent county orders regarding assembly of people. Any dates or times in this article may be changed as of publication of this Trestleboard. Please contact our Secretary for any updates prior to trying to attend.
